Installation
How do I install Ouaricon plugins?
Download the installer for your platform (macOS or Windows) from your Member Portal after purchase. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. The installer will automatically place the plugin files in the correct locations for your system.
Where are plugins installed on my computer?
macOS: Plugins are installed to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/ in the appropriate format folder (VST3 or AU).
Windows: VST3 plugins are installed to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\.
My DAW doesn't see the plugin after installation. What should I do?
First, try rescanning your plugins in your DAW. Most DAWs have a "Rescan" or "Refresh" option in their plugin manager. If the plugin still doesn't appear, verify that your DAW is looking in the correct plugin folder. You may need to add the installation directory to your DAW's plugin search paths.
How do I reinstall a plugin?
Simply download the installer again from your Member Portal and run it. The installer will replace the existing plugin files. Your license activation will remain intact, so you won't need to reactivate after reinstalling.
Can I install on multiple computers?
Yes, each license allows activation on up to 3 machines simultaneously. This covers typical setups like a studio computer, laptop, and home system. You can manage your activations from your Member Portal.
Licensing & Activation
Where can I find my license key?
Your license key is available in two places: in the confirmation email sent after your purchase, and in your Member Portal under "My Purchases." Each product displays its license key, which you can copy with one click.
How many machines can I activate on?
Each license allows activation on up to 3 machines at the same time. This is designed to accommodate typical workflows where you might have a studio workstation, a laptop for live performance, and a home computer.
How do I deactivate a machine?
Log into your Member Portal and navigate to the product you want to manage. You'll see a list of activated machines with the option to deactivate any of them. Deactivation frees up an activation slot for use on another computer.
Can I use my plugins offline?
Yes. After initial activation, our plugins work fully offline for up to 30 days. The plugin will periodically check for license validity when connected to the internet. This ensures you can work in studios without internet access or while traveling.
Can I transfer my license to someone else?
License transfers are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our support team with details about the transfer, and we'll assist you with the process.
